M.S. in Business Administration: Finance
Pamplin College of Business • Virginia Tech
Build quantitative skills in finance & analytics
Virginia Tech’s MSBA – Finance is a cohort-based, 12-month, 30-credit master’s program in Blacksburg that takes you from financial analysis and modeling to the valuation techniques used by analysts, bankers, and portfolio managers worldwide.
Anchored in Pamplin’s nationally recognized Department of Finance
Every major financial decision comes down to three questions.
- What is this worth?
- What are the risks and returns?
- Is this the best use of capital?
Corporations, banks, investment firms, and the public sector all run on people who can answer these questions with a defensible set of numbers. That is the job the MSBA – Finance trains you for.
In one year on the Blacksburg campus, you’ll move from financial analysis and projection modeling to the valuation techniques used by analysts, bankers, risk managers, and portfolio managers — taught by Pamplin’s Department of Finance faculty.
It’s built for graduates of quantitative majors (economics, engineering, math, statistics, computer science, and more) who are ready to put those skills to work.
